Riverside Canton Claypot Cuisine is an outstanding spot for authentic Cantonese dining. The claypot fish soup was the star – bubbling hot, rich in spice, and packed with tender, fresh fish. The balance of chili and green peppercorns gave it a fiery kick without overpowering the broth. The siu mai were plump, juicy, and topped with roe – simple, classic, and delicious. Fresh stir-fried greens and perfectly steamed rice rounded out the meal beautifully. Service was warm, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. A must-visit for anyone craving hearty, flavorful Cantonese claypot dishes with genuine hospitality.

Riverside Canton Claypot Cuisine @ Raffles City serves up satisfying Cantonese comfort food in a cozy setting. We tried their signature Mian Xian claypot—mine was the seafood version, and it was excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with fresh ingredients that paired perfectly with the noodles. Their dim sum selection was a pleasant surprise too. The spare ribs are definitely worth ordering—tender, well-seasoned, and a nice complement to the claypot dishes. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere felt relaxed yet bustling. A solid spot for a hearty meal, whether you’re here for claypot noodles or dim sum.

Overall taste was good, portion was just nice (ordered 1 claypot rice and 2 claypot dishes + vege dish - doumiao), might be on the smaller side for big eaters. A google review earns you a mango sago dessert. *Take note there’s claypot rice and claypot dishes without rice (which means you have to order a bowl of rice for $1.60).

Claypot rice is very well flavoured, rice is done with crisp and good grains.. Their claypot menu is good, only managed to try few today..but the portion is good for 2.to.3 pax sharing. Is good so can order more to share. Price is reasonable..seems like food court price. Definitely good cantonese food.

Bold and fiery! The signature spicy sauce was absolutely scrumptious, with its mala heat and crunchy peanuts. The fish was outstanding, chunky and incredibly fresh. It was grilled to perfection with crispy, charred skin that locked in the moist, flaky meat inside.

in summary, would suggest that you go for the claypot dishes rather than the kaoyu. i really enjoyed the signature claypot vermicelli with prawns - garlicky goodness! claypot chicken with ginger was also a good choice the okra stole the show for me though - super savoury, with pork lard and pork bits!! never had okra like this before the grilled fish was however a bit of a letdown.... we had the less spicy option but the gravy ended up being kinda diluted as a result? maybe the spicy version would have been tastier. however, the plus point is that the gravy is not very oily - so you can douse your rice with the sauce.
